I’m a potter who works out of my home studio in coastal North Carolina. I started working with clay in 2023 after my wife and I moved to the Tar Heel State, and I learned about the vibrant legacy of NC pottery. After taking a sculpture class with Carol Gardner in 2024, I fully committed to the craft. I’m a member of the Coastal Carolina Clay Guild, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from the Cape Fear region’s wealth of community teachers. I’m having the most fun when coiling stoneware vessels, pinching pots, sculpting, carving, and doing sgraffito work.
